Belt tensioner question
My belt has almost come off the past two events I've done, so I'm going to put a C6 tensioner on because of the higher sides. I noticed that NAPA has the whole assembly or just the pulley. Would the C6 pulley directly mount up to the C5 assembly, or do I just need to buy the whole C6 assembly. This is for a 2003 z06.
Thanks,
Will

My new favorite belt is the Gatorback, just look at one and you will see why, a stout belt if ever there was one.
Final thing is that sometimes it's the spring tensioner itself rather than the pully.
Aftermarket tensioners can be preset for the tension you want on the belt and don't "move around" like the spring loaded ones.
Put a laser on the pullies to ensure they all line up.

Mine and a couple of others with whom I run are the best fix. Forget the whole spring setup on the OEM. Once you adjust the pressure on the belt and tighten the bolt it is there for the duration!
Also, several of us have clutch packs so when the engine revs quickly, it revs QUICKLY! Belt stays in place with the Katech.
