Anyone own a Simpson Voyager helmet?
I need to buy a melon protector for HPDE and autocross events. The Simpson Voyager looked decent for the price. I also looks the field of view in it is pretty large. If you own one, are you happy with it?

Melting Slicks
I have a Voyager from 5 years on track, early 03 the end of 07, and found it good for the period. I'm sure current models are better. I got it because of the need to put on glasses to drive. Good luck.

I ran one for 5 years or so and liked it and it fit my head well.
On the latter point, the best thing you can do is try on friends' helmets or shop in person at a store that has a good selection to choose from. One brand's L is another's M is another's XL and fit and comfort for your head can vary considerably by brand.

Drifting
I have had one for the past six years. I retired it to instructing only duty this year. The only problem I have ever had with it is it will give me a pressure headache after about 30 minutes. I attribute this to the insides simply wearing out after so much use.
As someone else suggested, try one on first.
