Default RLL-TR-14-2 Progressive Incline Race Ramps trailer ramps

Here's a detailed drawing of the latest dedicated trailer ramp that Race Ramps is making for Reverse Logic. The ramps are 114" long by 14" wide by 9" high.

The inch-by-inch height measurements should help to determine if the ramps will work for your combination of car and trailer. The first customer getting these ramps has a car with 2" of ground clearance and a trailer with a 16" high deck.

The Progressive Incline design increases from a slope of 2.6 degrees to almost 7 degrees over the length of the ramp. A constant incline ramp with a 2.6 degree slope would be 189" long or 75" longer than the Progressive Incline design.

For forum members who think it would be better to make these ramps out of 2x12s I would estimate that the ramps would weigh a back-breaking 250 pounds per pair.

Price for the ramps is $598. With current discounts and rebates the cost would be closer to $513.

There's a typo in the Title of the first post in this thread. The correct model number is RLL-TR-114-2. The "114" number refers to the length rather than the height like the standard Race Ramps trailer ramp model numbering convention.

The first set off the production line is arriving in PA next week.

Default RLL-TR-114-2 compared to RR-TR-5

Here's a photo of the RLL-TR-114-2 next to a standard RR-TR-5 trailer ramp. The RR-TR-5 ramp is 67" long (including the step) and 5" high. The RLL-TR-114-2 ramp is 47" longer than the RR-TR-5 and is 9" high.

Do you have a pair? I haven't seen your tow setup yet.

Default Weight o RLL-TR-114-2 ramps

There are four sections, two on each side. The heaviest section is less than 15 pounds. If these ramps were made from wood they would weigh well over 200 pounds.

Default Low ground clearance car on RLL-TR-114-2 Race Ramps

Here's another photo of a low ground clearance GT-R with a long splitter on the RLL-TR-114-2 just as it reaches the trailer door. The ground clearance below the splitter is 3" (when the car is on level ground) and the distance from the front axle to the leading edge of the splitter is 42".

I stock the 114" ramps with a 2" deep step. The ramps shown in the photo have a 2.5" deep step which is 1/4" more than the 2.25" thick trailer door. We wanted to drop the trailer door edge a little below the ramps to increase the clearance at the nose of the car as it crossed over onto the trailer door.

Yes, I'm painfully aware of how heavy the wooden alternatives are. Thinking of scooping up some of the smaller ramps you have. Thanks!

I have one set of incline sections from an RLL-80-2 ramp with a slightly crumpled corner (black coating not torn) at the thin edge of the ramp. These LTP inclines are priced at $220. They have a 6.8 degree incline and are 6" high. The length is 56" including the 6" long step.

Default Race Ramps Trailer Ramp Calculator

You will find a Race Ramps calculator at this link.

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...rse-logic.html

The calculator compares 20 different Race Ramps models for a given car and trailer combination.

Here is a video of how easy it is to load my Radical with these ramps. They make loading an easy one person job.

I rarely get to see one of my custom Race Ramps designs in use. Thanks for sharing this video which clearly demonstrates the value proposition for the Progressive Incline ramps. A constant slope ramp with a 2.6˚ slope would be 6 feet longer. The curved-top design dramatically reduces the length of the ramp.

Since you purchased the RLL-TR-114-2 shown in the video I added two more Progressive Incline trailer ramp models to the product line. Here's a recap of the available models.

RLL-99-IS+EXT. 99" long, 3.5˚ initial incline, 9" high
RLL-TR-105-2. 105" long, 2.2˚ initial incline, 6.3" high
RLL-TR-110-2. 110" long, 2.6˚ initial incline, 8" high
RLL-TR-114-2. 114" long, 2.6˚ initial incline, 9" high

The Reverse Logic self-service trailer ramp calculator allows you to easily compare the car-to-ramp clearance of each of these ramp models. The calculator graphs your car/trailer combination after entering a few key measurements for your car and trailer.
