Is Ryan Falconer rebuilding the engine or is it good to go?

My crew chief Gordon @ Hudson Historics found it for me

Not sure re engine yet though I know he built it originally

Will probably drop an 800hp V8 in there till I get a feel for the car before I drop in a 1200hp V6 turbo

Awesome car.

How's this for coincidence: Watkins Glen just posted a picture of the car from 1988 as a promotion for their upcoming vintage weekend.

Was just talking to Crew Chief at Hudson Historics in NY

Starting work on suspension, fuel cell, hoses, lines, & ordering parts that take a while.

Hope to have pics in a few months

were they single turbo? Also did they run 2 intercoolers (one each side) or a single large one and a radiator in the other side?

They ran twin turbo V6's and also V8 engines... the side coolers are radiators. well they are both radiators on our car which is the Blue and white one above in the thread.

Nice pics

Sarel Van Der Merwe & Doc Bundy drove mine. They won Road Atlanta in 1986 from the Pole.

During testing she was driven by Mario Andretti, Al Unser, & Al Holbert

I told my crew chief I'll run the V8 w a "mere" 800hp before we drop the 1200hp turbo V6 in there

I was at the 88 race and have pics somewhere.

It's fantastic that the car's being brought back.

Where are the intercoolers? Pipe work looks like there are coolers on there.
