Man, I've been searching the forum but I am coming up short with a solid answer

How much maximum oil can a stock 2004 Z06 hold? Ive read that if you track the car - add 1/2 quart over.

So does that make it 7 or 7.5 quarts?

Sorry for such a newbie question but my oil was just changed, yesterday, with the extra 1/2 quart for track use (Running AMP in PHX this Saturday) http://arizonamotorsportspark.com/ but I think there's more than a 1/2 quart over....like way over the top indicator line on the dip stick.

On mine 7 qts gets it over the mark by 1/4 qt. You could go a little more for track. Ck level each session & put the oil pressure on the hud.

There is a lag but better than nothing.

I hope you put 10 wgt or 15

Valvoline 10W30 - 100% Synthetic is what was put in.

7 3/4 quarts in - is the final fill amount.
