Default 3 day track event Indiana

Anyone going to Putnam Park for 3 days this October? Would be a good time to bring a C7 up for some track fun.

Very nice GS! Have you been to Putnam since they built the new clubhouse and garages? First class all the way.

I won't be there for that event, but was at Putnam just last week. The track just keeps getting better. The garages are great.

Just curious, what are you guys getting for lap times? I'm running 1:27's currently.

Aero helps tremendously at Putnam. Also, big sticky new tires. I have seen a person drop 4 seconds from one weekend to the very next one doing the above. I have only added a small spoiler to the rear of my heavy C5Z and have run mid 116's with 315 R6's at all four corners.

The Michelin Viper (out of the St. Louis area) will be there, one very fast Viper. Beware.

The latest roster shows a few fast drivers with capable cars. Should be entertaining.

Thanks guys for the times. Those are fast laps. I may upgrade next year to racing tires once I get new rear control arms & spindles.

Most aero mods are out of the question for my year and just look silly on a street driven C3, unless I get really inventive. Have considered making some aero mods that could be installed rather quickly for track use only though.

You guys have fun and stay safe .

I ran a best of 23.3 in September in a cammed c6 on nitto invos, but there is more in it for sure.

A few of the Porsche guys were saying 20 flat is solid for street tires

Great track, can't wait to go back

Bill (10/10ths) uses the mylaps transponder system. You can input your code with him or rent a battery powered transponder from him. It is a great way to see your actual times and compare with others.

I went there... didn't recognize any of you guys though. I was in the blue Cobalt SS. I think my best time of the weekend was a 1:23.7

10/10ths is a good group.

Wish I had known you were gonna be there. I was in the instructor group, blk C5Z number 22. It was a little (a lot) cold on Friday and Saturday but Sunday turned out really nice. 10/10ths is a great group. They will be at the new NCM track at the inaugural opening next labor day.

I think I remember seeing that car on track.

Yep, looking forward to running there! Hopefully in a C7 in 2015.
