Need a good book on autocrossing
Since the snow will be piling up here soon, I need to put the Z06 away for the winter in 13 days. I should really move down south.
I need something to occupy my time over the next 5 months or so. Does anyone have a good book on autocross instruction that they would recommend?

Here are two that were recommended to me back when I started autocrossing which I also recommend in order of preference.
Secrets of Solo Racing: Expert Techniques for Autocrossing and Time Trials: Henry A. Watts: 9780962057311: Amazon.com: Books

Schroder was known as a pretty good shoe so his stuff should be a lot more current...

Add "The Inner game of Tennis" by Tim Gallwey to cover the mental aspects of racing, or any sport for that matter.

The Watts book is an old one but I think many of the topics and fundamentals are timeless and the way he explains a lot of things were - at least for me - made more sense to me than a number of other authors I've read.
I've had that Inner Game of Tennis recommended to me as well but I haven't read it yet. Maybe this winter.

I wrote one a few years back. It's been out of print for a couple of years but still available on Amazon.com
The good part (at least for you) is that you can read most of it online.
