Default Looking for a 5 point Harness

Does anyone make a 5 point harness for a C5 Corvette that doesn't require a Harness Bar.

One that can be bolted in place of the existing seat belts mounts that come with the car.

New to AutoX and HPDE

Sure would appreciate this info.

Thanks

The stock car only has 3 belt mounts. You can get aftermarket belt mounts from vendors that will allow you to mount your lap and 2 sub belts (Brey Krause) but you need a harness bar to mount the shoulder belts. Ideally the sub belts should be mounted on a bar crossing under the seat and pass through the seat bottom to attach to the lap belt. Not easily done with a stock seat due to the seat springs.

And the shoulder belts should pass thru holes in the seatback.

And the sub belt should also pass thru a hole in the front of the seat base and attaches to a separate mounting point.

Try checking the C5 Parts For Sale section and the Autocrossing and Roadracing Classifieds at top of this forum. You may seem them from time to time.
