I would like to see the links. I only look at threads in c4 tech, c4 general, and autox/road race. I don't have a lot of time to sift through other forums which have 99% nothing to do with me. I think if it is even remotely associated with racing it should be allowed. I was displeased when i saw the shumacher injury thread closed because it was considered off topic...
I am curious about the c7 but I don't want to sift throgh pages of threads called, "what does this button do?" Or "what aftermarket rims will you get", etc... data recorders are something many racers use, and might be able to be adapted to some other cars or yield better results from strategies the gm engineers use.
Post away please, you have my support and curiosity.

That PDR system looks great ! The system records all the data you could want. Lap Times, video, RPM and throttle position, brake application, sector times, Gforce, with a track location map. Software is included for indepth data analysis. Data can be removed via a SD card which is super easy, or viewed on screen if the car is not moving. It would cost you about $2500 to piece together a TraqMate / GoPro system that would do the same thing. Really a world class system available in NO other factory car !! Hope that Chevy does not get greedy when pricing the system.

5Hz on the GPS, which is fine when combined with accelerometer data. Not clear what the rest of the channels are sampled at, but it looks like they have done a good job on the rest so I'd guess that it is at least 20Hz on things like steering angle/brake pressure/TPS.
