Yeah, Barber is a blast. As a first-timer, the grade changes and blind crests were intimidating the first few rounds. Once you got the flow it was flat-out. I hope to return soon - with new tires.

Quality surface finish. I debated on painting to match then decided it was not necessary- unlike a lot of carbon fiber components.

Why do you guys choose the 3D airfoil and low wing height vs. 2D and higher up? NASA allows 8" over roof line.

Absolutely, and I'm sure a couple drivers have your hood, splitter and wing. But those guys are in a different class than me AND they are fast with your stuff on board !!!!!

One day I will move up in class

The wing was designed to take advantage of the air coming off of the back of the car and around the rear window.

If you stick the wing up that high, you also increase total frontal area of the car as well.

Our wing design is very efficient at producing downforce on the cars with little drag, and there was no point in mounting it up that high. Typically speaking the wing can over power almost any front downforce you are going to put on the car to balance it out, including a flipped radiator and chimney through the hood.

Of the Texas guys - Mike was the fastest (as always)with a 1:34.6 - a second in TT1. I ran a 1:38.7 which placed me 4th in TT1. Not bad for first time at the track but I will be back!

Damn my 1:50 on street tires seems "get and walk" slow.

Thats ok though, the Wilwoods are on the floor and the Rcomps are on the wheels. 1:45's next trip in the Z28.

NASA Texas is participating in the multi-regional at NOLA next September 20 & 21. I am planning to run there this summer (June 28 & 29th) as well. Noticed you are from Mobile, I am as well - Eastern Shore to be exact.
