Sign the Petition to Save Texas World Speedway!
There is a very real possibility we could lose Texas World Speedway in College Station next year. The College Station City Council is meeting in a couple of weeks on March 27 to determine if plans should go forward to turn the site into a housing development starting in 2015.
A petition to keep the track has been put together and needs your support. Go to the site http://soonerbillz.com/SaveTWS/ and sign the petition in the upper right-hand corner. This track is a HUGE part of the racing/HPDE/NASA/SCCA community in Texas and the Southwest, and its closing will affect the entire motorsports community. Please take a few minutes and sign the petition. At the very least, maybe we can postpone plans for a while and give the track owner and the city council something to think about.
