Come and join the SVT Cobra Mustang Club, SVT Owner's Association, Track Club USA, Modular Boss for their annual SVT Superfest to be held on Memorial Day weekend. You do not have to be an SVT owner in order to participate in the event but if you want to drive on track over the weekend, you must be a member of one of these three clubs.

The event will be held at the world class location of Virginia International Raceway in Alton, VA, just east of Danville, VA. The Fest will consist of three days of open track, an SVT, Shelby, Mustang, and Ford Show, Friday night social cookout, and a Saturday night banquet with guest speaker. Also available will be on site karting, skeet shooting, portable dyno, and more....

Please note the track rental went up due to VIR repaving the track and the north paddock so you will see an increase amount in registration fees. $595.00 for three days for on line payment which is less than going to the 50th Anniversary Celebration for two days. The track has been repaved, widened, and the north paddock is now all asphalt. We have been asking for this for quite some time and VIR has delivered.

We will be running the VIR full course on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Host Hotel Information:

We recommend everyone stay at the track and reserve your room at the Lodge or the paddock rooms as they have garages below your room, or at "The Villas" where you can go first class all the way. Go to www.virnow.com for more details and pricing.

Do not sign up to be an instructor for this event without being confirmed by Tony, otherwise you may not be approved to instruct. If your name is not on the instructor list, you are not confirmed as an instructor.

It is recommended that you come back to this forum thread to verify you are registered for this event. You will receive an e-mail confirming your registration along with your instructor assignment, event explanation, and gate passes.

Usually make this every year. It is one of my favorite events. Plenty of stuff going on. Just glad they let other cars participate.
