Default C5Z wheels on early C4?

Been running the '69 a lot the last few years (with C5Z wheels), and am finally getting the '84 running again (355 turbo 6spd). My 16" track tires are old, and I'm curious if the C5Z wheels are an option for an early C4. Is the wheel offset difference enough to cause fitment/handling issues, or am I worrying about nothing? The C5Z wheels are still on the '69 from a track day a couple weeks ago and I haven't had time yet to actually try them on the '84.

Comments, advice?

Thanks.

I have no idea if there is a difference between the early C4 and the later C4's, but I sold all my C5Z 17" fronts to C4 owners who run them on the track.

84-87 Is a different offset than 88- current. I ran 17 x 11 zr1 on my 84 track car. You will need long studs and spacer for later wheels. Hope this helps!
