Congrats to Marc Sherrin on a NASA lap record at TWS!
Huge congrats to our customer Marc Sherrin for winning TT1 this weekend at Texas World Speedway and setting a new lap record in the process of a 1.44:497!
Marc is still running a full 'street car' in TT1 with factory seats, A/C, and radio in the car.
Modifications include:
Only a few more races and Marc should have the NASA regionals locked up in TT1 for a championship!

Nice promo. Lou does know his ch!t.
What was the broken record and what was it set by?
I see side skirts in the LG modifications list that helped him break the record. I think big-rig tractor truck trailers with skirts assist in reducing wind resistance. I finger that function may be the similar to your skirt product. Are the skirts functional by channeling air around the car reducing resistance by less air going under the car?

Not like a vertical skirt, like what you see on the semi trailers or a Bonneville speed car.

Previous NASA TT1 record for TWS CCW direction held by Mike Weathers at 145.68 - in a C6 Corvette Z06 (also LG prepped) The NASA TT1 record for TWS CW is currently held by Troy Messer 147.37 (C6 Corvette).
The weather was lousy - we only had a couple of dry sessions the whole weekend. My best time 146.9. Marc spanked us all.
Marc is a good friend and paddock mate - that is his red car in my avatar - behind me!!!!

Marc and Jim's cars are definitely some of my favorite C6's. Makes my silly C5z feel like a beater.

Headed tonight to Eagles Canyon for the NASA Texas 2014 season finale. Marc (C6Z06) and Raymond Guerrero (Viper) tied for first place in TT1. Should be exciting!

Yeah, a few - he removed the mirrors, head lights, and the entire rear clip and added a diffuser. He did not pass inspection because of no brake lights and had to rig up temporaries to run Saturday.

Jim you and Mark made it look easy out there! Congrats to Marc on the NASA Texas TT1 championship. He had quite the battle going in to Eagles Canyon: Tied on points, 1st places and 2nd places.
