Have spent nine days on it including a Chump Race. I like it. It will be my home track since I am in Nashville, Tn. area. Here is a group I like to run with and be glad to show you around the track.

I was there for the October ChumpTuckey Chumpcar 7x7 weekend event as a photographer for Thing 3 Racing. The track walked and looked amazing. The drivers had concerns if it would get grip with the surface being so new. The surface woke up pretty fast and contained good grip on cornering speeds. There are some great technical spots too which makes for some great wheel to wheel racing.

2015 is going to be a big year for the track and we look forward to coming down with our HoosierPE race cars for the late model muscle car challenges and some SCCA autocrosses they plan to have. I spoke with one of the main course crew folks and they explained that there is over 200 event scheduled for 2015 - awesomesauce!

The SCCA has a HPDE going on Nov 2nd through Kentucky region.

If you want to check it out.

The less desirable part of the track - pit wall. That thing is forever and rather tall. Mostly see the roof or top of some wings when driving past pits.

Maybe we will bump into some of you next year!

BTW: Here is a link to an article I did on my photog experience with links to photos of the track if you would like to see them. If not - do not click the link

Make sure that you do at least a 2 day event. You won't like it on Day 1 but sometime in the morning of Day 2 you'll come around and it'll "click". After that, it's great.

BTW, your new DP is incredible. You'll have to see how it like the 35mph hairpin corner at NCM.
