I will stand by my "junk" statement because you should not have to retrofit/N-Rig a sway bar package like this. That should be done for you in the R&D and Engineering process.

I had NO issues with the T1's I had on my old C6. Bolt on, adjust, and go!
I certainly understand your position on these bars.

OK LOL Junk it is. I have owned a Corvette performance shop for 13 years. Unfortunately more than 50% of all aftermarket performance pieces I install have fitment issues. Many of the pieces the forum thinks highly of I wont let in my shop. Its small budget companies trying to make a profit in a small market. It doesnt surprise me anymore I plan for it & expect it.

I expect issues with engine swaps, blower installs, big power builds...

But bolt in suspension parts??? No...

So... this hole that needs to be drilled: Are we talking about the front or rear LCA or both?

AFE Power is in Booth 107 at PRI today. They can well expect a visit from me, I hope to god they don't have this stuff on display. To promote products that are known to have issues with no current resolve is like a slap in the face to those of us that are attempting to get these issues handled.

Stay Tuned....

I don't think anyone appointed you the spokesperson for everyone on the forum and you are certainly not the majority shareholder and CEO of aFe.

I agree with Oli and keep in mind that aFe owes you precisely NOTHING. If you have a beef with PFAT then be man enough to keep it in that arena and resolve your issues with PFAT.

If you are foolish enough to actually create difficulty for aFe at a public show over something they had nothing to do with you may get lucky and get kicked out or arrested ... if I were there you could count on it.

Enjoy yourself and play nice.

First off, not a public show... Industry access only... So should we call it semi-public?

I would like to address a specific line here...

"If you are foolish enough to actually create difficulty for aFe at a public show over something they had nothing to do with"

If you are still selling and promoting a part that has known issues, I wouldn't say you have "nothing to do with it". (Poly bushings made to incorrect tolerances, End links that bind) These are both my personal experiences with these bars and others have complained of the same. I am far to busy to just make this $hit up...

I could count on getting kicked out or arrested if you were here? You are now the king of the PRI show? Captain of the Indy PD? Head of Security for the Convention center? That was just a stupid comment man..

There is nothing wrong with approaching someone and confronting them regarding their products and asking for a resolution. It is my understanding that AFE vowed to right the wrongs and take care of the Pfadt customers. Does AFE owe me anything? Absolutely not.. You are 100% correct. But if you are going to take over for a company that burned many many customers as well as vendors it would be in your best interest to try and right the wrongs.

The bottom line is that before their thread was removed by administrators, AFE said that they would take care of previous customers with isuses. Well here I am. Resolve it.

Don't take this the wrong way. I could care less how you handle it but I think what some people are trying to say is

"lotta tough words on the internet like you're gonna scrape with someone but I bet you'll end up shaking hands and being as nice as possible about it when in person"

record your interaction with them and youtube

Only 50%? I find that the fancier/more expensive the part, the less likely it is to bolt in or play well with things around it.

I fail to see the "tough" words...

I don't think I said that I was about to start screaming and yelling and throwing $hit around the convention center. I always try to handle things in a civilized way first.

I plan to do some recording though this year! AFE wasn't on my radar for that though, ive got a different target!

I have no beef with AFE as a company, I have had no business dealings with them. I am just hoping that they will step up and resolve the issues for Pfadt customers as they had initially said they would based on what was posted in the C7 section. In my opinion, if you are going to continue to sell the same products, you need to support them and the customers that own them. That is how I do business, you don't leave people hanging. Truth be told, if any of you do not agree with that, you need a lesson in business ethics.

I will post again after speaking with them. If they tell me to go fly a kite. That's fine. I will never purchase anything from AFE. There is only so much you can do.

On the other side, if they resolve the issue... I will be the very first person to campaign for them as a good company to do business with. Pfadt left them with some steaming turds, this is just one of them.

Sheer curiosity, who then appointed you the spokesmen for Pfadt? And where is their rebuttal to all of this?

I've appointed myself as the closer of this thread.

Seriously, I've posted several cautions about the rules concerning posts in this thread and they appear to have gone unnoticed.

Pfadt closed its doors and some of you have said you were left holding the bag.

AFE Power acquired Pfadt as a means of expanding their product line to suspension parts.

AFE has said it is willing to work with people who have pending issues on Pfadt products and has asked folks to contact them offline to discuss those issues. I presume that includes Pfadt customers, the customers of retailers who sold Pfadt products and, perhaps, any retailers who have pending issues as well.

AFE is a supporting vendor at Corvetteforum and on a number of other automotive sites. As far as I can determine, they have a good customer service reputation.

Corvettteforum's problem is with Pfadt, not AFE Power, but we've told AFE they may not use this site to market and promote Pfadt products -- at least not until we see how things sort out with the pending unresolved Pfadt issues.

Again, if you have unresolved issues with Pfadt:
  1. Contact AFE Power and give them the details of your problem.
  2. If you prefer, send me your information and I'll contact them on your behalf.

After that process is complete, you are welcome to post a factual account of your positive or negative experience in the Transactions Feedback section, where it will be easy for others to review as they make decisions on future purchases.

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-disputes.html

You are not welcome to use Corvetteforum to repeatedly bash Pfadt, AFE or any other vendor rather than following the process referenced above.
