Any folks run a udp on a rr setup, and specifically an LS3 based 416?

I've heard the small gain may not be worth the affect on the water pump and cooling but wanting to know if any have first hand expereince with this and if so, which brand to use?

A 25% UD pulley is quite useful on that setup. I ran a 416 LS3 for the last two seasons until a bad MAF leaned the motor out this summer. The HP increase is negligible but depending on your water pump (I run a custom Evans with a pulley matched to the UD balancer) you will have an easier time keeping your pump in an RPM range that will prevent cavitation. You also will take a load off your PS pump and rack since those continuous RPM's will kill them in no time. It's also an SFI product which is far better for racing. Overall it's a sound investment.

I use ATI, IMO the best. They also have an ebay store with blems, big savings.

Same motor. I use a ati. I think it's only 10% or something.
