Just spent the day at Hallett Motor Racing. Car is a C7Z and popped out of 3rd gear all day under braking. I'd go into a corner in 3rd, brake, apex and get on gas and it would be in neutral. Only happens in prior to turn in at hard braking zones.

It would also do it if I was going to downshift to second from third after corner braking. I'd go to shift to second from third and it would in neutral as I went for the shifter.

Not sure the dealer will be able to replicate or diagnose as it only does it under track conditions.

Car was great other than this, which is a significant issue. Car has 2,000 miles and it's never done it on the street. Only when driven hard on the track.

Anybody else experience this problem or have an idea what it might be? Transmission seems fine with no noise or other issue.

Can you do the same shifter alignment as the C5 (and probably C6)??

Take it apart & look for a shifter adjuster option. I have a video on c5z - click below.

May be similar on c7.
