Default Tracking my '10 GS - Square Setup?

Will start tracking my '10 GS this year and need to make some wheel/tire choices. I do about 3-4 events per year (in my VW GTI), will stay on streets for at least next two years. I always take spare wheels & tires to track. So, buy another set of stock 19" and 18" or go square and buy 4-6 18's? What do most guys run, square or stock?

I ran 18" CCWs all around on my '11 GS. Now onto a 2015 C7.

Default Next question, how wide on front?

Assuming square, what's widest front on a stock suspension?

18x11 a little rub or a lot of rub?

Thanks very much for the help.

Popular combination is not square. Most run 18x11 front and 18x13 rear wheels with 315/30 fronts and 345/30 rear tires. That is about the most meat you can get on a wide body.

Yep. That's what I used on my 10 GS. CCW's.

295/30's seem abundant, but 345/30's not so much. Generally Ok to run 335/30's on the 18x13's? Maybe I just don't know where to find them.

Thanks again.

You should be able to find them...
The 335 & 345 would both fit on 12" or 13" wheels, according to Tire Rack's chart (although they list both tire's specs on a 12" wheel)..The 335 is 0.5" narrower than the 345 tire...

The 12" wheels seem more available than the 13" wheels, in the resale market anyway. I searched for many weeks before I found mine. I passed on numerous 12" rears during the search.
