I did an extensive search and found a few threads with inconclusive result

It seems the selection of 18" wheels with correct offset on the rear are quite limited. The C5Z rear wheels and c6Z front wheels seem to stick out too much on a narrow body c6 like mine

Can I buy a set of front c6 narrow body (18 x 8.5 I believe) wheels and put them on the rear? It looks like I can fit up to 265/275 tires on these wheels? Will that be enough traction?

My fronts will remain stock size

Any other inexpensive 18" wheels I can consider on the rear?

Tsw's are made for c5 and c6. They are flush with the fenders. A 275/40 or 295/35 should not rub.

Thank you! I was hoping for more affordable options via Oem wheels, however, is that not possible?

Not that i know of. I have tsw's for street and ccw for track. You really need a full set because the fronts are too narrow. Why not just stay with the stock 18/19" wheels?
