Default Do Street Tires (200 TW or higher) need Heat cycling?

I am asking for a friend who has just got some RE71s.

He is asking if they need Heat cycling before using them for autox.

We are getting a variety of responses form various people in his
local SCCA club.

We think they just need the mold release scrubbed off.

But... what is the consensus here ?

If an A6 does not require heat cycle (according to Hoosier) I can't imagine why a 200tw tire would, unless I'm a tire company selling heat cycling.

Not necessary for street tires. They will be totally scrubbed in by the time you drive to the track anyway.
