Default HPDE: Carbotech XP10s with OEM GS rear pads

Hey guys,

I am going to be taking my GS to the track for the first time on sunday. I will be flushing the brake fluid with Motul 660 (got 1.5 L for it).

I had some miiiinor brake squeak earlier this week, so I decided order Carbotech XP10fronts/8 rears. I ran Carbotechs on my last car at the track and like them.

The problem is, I couldn't find the 8s anywhere so I ordered the 10s anyways. I haven't had the chance to see if my current pads are dying, but when I do so on saturday, and decided there is not enough for a full day, would it matter if I run the XP10s up front, and the oem rears out back? Too much brake bias?

Ps. I didn't want to go to Xp12/10s because I am on street tires, so no need. My plan is to run the Carbotech 1521s (street) during daily driving, as swapping carbotech for carbotech you won't have issues reusing the same rotors.

Thanks!

I've run XP/10 stock rear for years on my Z06, no brake issues at all.

If you run with all "nannies" on you may wear out the rears much quicker then fronts. Other then that I'd say you will be fine.

I did the same without any problems and now I run XP10s on all four corners without any problems.

Thank you guys very much!

I ended up swapping the front pads to the XP10s, and they worked perfectly!
A few pics as retribution for your input
