Enclosed car trailer - Aluminum ATC Raven
For sale is my 2014 28ft enclosed aluminum car trailer made by ATC. I purchased this trailer brand new from Camperland in Madison Wis in May of '14. I have made only 3 trips with it, two of them to Road America. I have never even taken it out of state. Total estimated miles on this trailer since purchase are aprox 900. It has roof A/C with Yamaha generator. Factory florecent lighting, electrical outlets, cabinets, and generator compartment. I wrote the check to the dealer for $19,200 and within weeks I also instaled a shower, bed, carpet, deep cycle battery, night lights and a full size spare tire. I have over $20,000 invested in it. This is a high quality trailer in as new condition, absolutely no disapointments. Stored inside over winter. Reason for sale - looking at a larger 5th wheel setup. Located near Madison Wis
Asking $15,900

The trailer is light, being aluminum. It weighs just over 3000 pounds. I only pulled it once with the Avalanche, a short trip, and it rode nice and smooth.

A couple of questions...
I have an Av jus like yours that I tow a 22' enclosed V-nose that is not light weight but a car hauler. it weighs about 7,500 and puts the Av at it's tow limit..in fact I just had it weighed on the way back from a track event and the total GVW was 14,120 just120 over the rated total weight capacity for an 11' Av with the tow package.
your light weigh 28' trailer is about the same weight as my 22', that's awesome.
My question is about the stance of the Av...it's a little low. I have air springs and a weight distribution hitch. It looks like you don't have either. Which if the answer is yes, that's a good thing. Air shocks or a weight distribution hitch would make towing your rig a breeze.
I got the WDH b/c I bought an RV trailer...the air shocks would have been enough, now they are not really needed.
Anyway, the Av, or any other 1500, will tow your trailer with no problems...it is long but is almost an RV too. with the bunk and A/C
Any 1500 truck with a tow package will pull it with no problem.
Here is my problem...my wife claims she is "allergic" to dogs. I'm telling her that we are getting a cute doge like yours or I'm buying your trailer (which looks like it comes with the dog).

The avalanche is complete stock, no suspension mods. I needed to make a short trip when my 1 ton was in the shop, so I used the av.
