Default C7 TPMS learning

Has anyone else noticed that these seem to learn themselves? I drive the car around for a minute, and all the tires were learned before I had a chance to grab the tool to learn them.

This seems to be a change that nobody really mentioned. It certainly eliminates some pain the butt of swapping wheels and tires. Sensors are under $50 now too so I suppose there is no reason to not install them now.

Just wanted to share that tidbit. It was a 15 Z51 fwiw.

The procedure to auto-learn is actually covered in the owner's manual. Although, I found that with mine it took a lot longer to relearn than the 20 minutes the owner's manual claimed. In fact, I was convinced I got the wrong TPMS and then they suddenly started working.
