Default JDP Motorsports C5 Z06 NASA Build

We've been working on a C5 Z06 for the last 6 months getting it ready for NASA Nationals at Laguna Seca at the end of July. We picked the car up in Colorado and it had originally been built by DRM. We ended up gutting the car and starting from scratch to build it the way we wanted it and to accommodate a 6'4" driver.. The original cage retained the factory roll bar which didn't leave a lot of head room.

We've gone with the best parts in the business on this build including AJ Hartman hood and slitter/undertray, AP Racing RadiCal brakes front and rear, Goodaero wing, Foregline GA3R wheels, JRi Raft approved coilovers, LG Motorsports drop spindles, Ron Davis and the list goes on... More details to follow!

The AJ Hartman hood required the intake manifold to be flipped. We designed and built an air box under the original dash and we made a scoop that entered though the windshield. It is a work of art and 100% functional.

We design the fore and aft ducting for the radiator along with all of the mounting provisions.

I will get a lot more detail posted on the entire build in the coming weeks as we prepare for Nationals. Stay tuned for the finished product!

Kind regards,

Jordan Priestley

I'm looking at an intake flip and similar application as you. I'd love to see as many photos as you can share of how you built that airbox! Thanks in advance!
