Torque tube heat shield
I am looking for recommendations on the best undercar heat shield for the tunnel on my C6 Z06 track car.
Since I have gutted the car and caged it, it cooks me. I am putting insulation inside the car and would also like to add a heat shield underneath.
Any help would be appreciated.

Look into this stuff - I use it inside the car for the tunnel, but there's no reason you couldn't use it around the tunnel under the car. It really works, the outer layer is thin aluminum so it's pretty tough yet flexible.

I have had the DEI stuff Joel posted on my C5Z06 for years now. Still works great.

You can also wrap you pipes. This is the "titanium" wrap from DEI. I kept it on for years as well. This was part of my "TTA/PTA ShadeTree Trans Cooler".
When I went to Kooks longtubes and midpipe, I did not wrap them because every time you work under the car you end up with fiberglass fibers in your hands, arms, and face. But it does help.

I'm well aware of the problem of both heat in the cockpit (I've had heat exhaustion twice this season already) and the wrap on the Kooks headers getting shredded due to track contact. I'm VERY interest in all these solutions and desperate to find ANYTHING that works, even if it adds weight to the car.

I kinda like the Brkntrxn idea of covering the sides of the tunnel and SouthernSon solution for the tunnel plate. Header wrap as a as a last resort.

I used the starter shield and tunnel plate shield when I installed headers, works fine for daily driving. I have not tracked the car yet. I preferred the tunnel shield cut around the tunnel plate bolts.
I did not think to cover the sides of the tunnel. Probably catch that this winter.
The Heat Master looks to be appropriate for track conditions.
