Default Final lap at road america.

I was up there watching the race yesterday. The pace of the Porsche and the Ferrari was insane. The rest of the field had zero chance. We were watching the 912 gain 2 seconds a lap. Anyway, the final few laps was a great battle for 2ND between the 911 and the 458. After 15-20 laps the Porsche just could not pass him, so I looked up who the drivers were...and there I knew what was going to happen..it was jorg bermiester in the Porsche. I knew he would just smash his way through. Sure as **** on the last turn he just slammed the Ferrari out of his way. Still shows he got 2ND on imsa, but I'm waiting for a press release to send him back to 3rd. Anyone hear any news?
I can't stand that guy. Ever since he sent the vette into the wall on purpose years ago.

I can't stand him either. Yesterday's pass was fairly clean though. I watched it and replayed it a few times. He didn't touch the Ferrari until they were along side and they both came together but not really intentionally. Guy in the Ferrari lost control, Jorg didn't and went onto win. It was a phenomenal battle for 2nd.

You're talking about the day he smashed into Jan Magnussen at Laguna Seca I believe?

If it was another driver, then I would think it was a good drive, but after that many laps and couldn't do it, he went to making contact. That's just him.

Ya, with Jan. Couldn't remember the track though.

The announcers actually predicted it as well several laps before, that there would be no pass without contact. Truth of the matter is on that track, cars a "little" faster could not pass without "help", either a bump or traffic or something. This one seemed pretty clean, no way you can give a penalty there. The Ferrari actually went off after clear of the contact

I thought what he did to Jan was pretty blatant, but that one looked to me like hard racing.

Yes, but it's the fact it's him that made me know exactly what would happen. He's a bitch

I don't understand why the first touch as there was plenty of room, but that Ferrari took himself out on the 2nd one. Sucks for him.
