Default Project Car Insurance

It was going to be a six-month project. When the registration came due the car was still on jack stands. In an effort to be frugal you didn’t renew the registration. Surprise. That car is no longer insured.

Here's the article about what you should know.

I hope those are not your cars......

At any rate, I was under the impression that if a car was apart and not running but at your home, then it was covered under home owners insurance?

Richard I did not read the article, but I specifically have had non-registered project cars insured for over a year at a time.

Larue insurance through Infinity in KY (I think) has me covered all the way in CA.

EDIT: you've got that covered

Homeowner's insurance should have covered the loss.
