Any installed pics?

The issues I see with most bars is they are too high in relation to shoulder belt holes in the seat.

3rd.

My Brey Krause bar is offset lower from the upper seat bolt bracket holes and is perfectly level with my shoulders. If the bar was any higher, it wouldn't work well.

Not a great pic but it shows the location.

Any pictures of the ends and how they attach/look? Is it attached to the seatbelt mounts?

Do you have that Kirkey bolted to it?

How low is that Kirkey in the car?

Mine is flat on a Planted mount.

Any more pics? The bar pins in and out correct?

Ours is bolted to it.

We made a bracket that attaches to the seat bar using one of our clamps. The clamps are available but depending on the placement of your seat and what kind of seat you are using, you will need to fabricate your own bracket.

The seat is pretty low in our car. This isn't a great picture but it shows the height.

We fabricated it here. It's a fairly simple mount cut out of flat plate and bent. We added the adjustment holes to accommodate different drivers, but it isn't a matter of pulling a lever. It's still pretty easy to move if we need to.

How mine is mounted, the bottom in the back is bolted directly to the planted mount. The seat is low in the car and my Hardbar harness bar is way too high. I am looking at this kit, but you guys need some better pics of this kit installed in a car.

I sent a PM to Chase a few days ago, no response to it.

Sorry for any inconvenience but I don't see a PM. Can you resend it or send it directly to my email? chase@ridetech.com

We should have a full line of pics and instructions within the next couple of days.

thanks

There isn't a real good way to take a picture showing the position of the bar. I put a few in my post to try to give you an idea. I took a few measurements while I was taking pictures. The top of the bar is 5 3/4" below the center of the seatbelt bolt. I measured right to the center of the OEM seatbelt shoulder harness mounting bolt straight down to the top of the bar. That measurement will most likely give you a better idea where it is positioned.

What is stopping the bar from rotating on that bracket? It have a top and bottom mounting point into the B pillar?

Looks good, I am glad someone finally addressed the bar being too high.

The mounting plate extends down and is attached under the seatbelt. The upper goes around the bung for the shoulder belt is radially clamped using a machined clamping washer. I'm having trouble posting pics, I will give it a try again tomorrow.

Can this be retrofitted to be used on the C6 Corvettes? I wouldn't mind being a test dummy for the first bar if needed.
