Optima Search for Ultimate Street Car at Thunderhill
Is anyone going from So Cal? I had two friends cancel due to work reasons. I am leaving San Diego Thursday afternoon with a half empty stacker trailer and my F450, just me and my Z06. Would consider taking another car / person with me or would just be nice to caravan with someone in case of trouble. Must have experience pulling a big trailer if you want to ride along. Also I have a back up Z06 that I might be willing to let someone else drive if they have lots of experience. Car is already registered to go to the event. The even is this coming weekend the 27th and 28th of February 2016. Post or PM for more details.

Good luck! I normally try to hit a few but this year due to schedule conflicts I'm only able to attend COTA. I've got my fingers crossed for one of those elusive invites to Vegas though!

Congrats! Looks like you took home the win in GTL and your wife barely missed out on the win in GTS!
actually looking closer your wife would've won too if it wasn't for Optima's "we reserve the right to chose who goes to SEMA but call it D&E" category.

That's the best description for D&E that I've heard yet! Same thing happened in Fontana last year. If I'm in a stock car beating these guys that are in basically racecars...in my mind, I should get more points, not less. It is what it is I guess. In all honesty, I was thrilled to get as many points in D&E as I did this time.

The only thing that would have made it better was if she got the win in GTS.

Yes, it was a good weekend. I was nervous after having the yellow car torn apart all winter, but the plan was to come out and make a statement at the first event so that's exactly what I did.

We struggled with carb issues but had a great time.
