Looking for every and any way to go faster. Some Constructive Criticism would be appreciated.

My first comment would have been that you're not cutting the apexes close enough. But, given the poor curbing on that track, maybe that was prudent.

that's got to be a couple seconds shaved right there, no? Prolly a good thing as well, since I don't have a second set of good strong heavy track wheels yet, just the OEM Z06/7 wheels....

Keep the suggestions coming.....

Your line seems basically fine, except in T5. It's okay to set up all the way to the left for T6 (although I don't think it's faster), but you turned in too early and ran out of space.

I also like to turn into T3 earlier, although your approach is pretty standard.

Most of your time improvements will be just pushing the car much harder by carrying more speed. In order of opportunity I would say:

1
8
9
5/6
2
3
4

But Big Willow is not a great place to find out that you overcooked "that" corner

Thanks. On further review of video in other cars @ T—6......yes.....turned in way early. A buddy in an S2000 gave me ride along and he lines up ALL the way to the right for T—6. Then slams on the brakes.

Wondering what the safest but highest entry speed is for T—6 in a vette.

Braking for turn 6? I keep my foot on the floor from the apex of 5 until the entrance of 9.... Although your car can likely acellerate faster than my Radical.

I suspect there is mix up on which turn is Six.

For our new driver here, Turn Six is the one that crests the top of the small hill. Turn Five is at the bottom of the hill after Turn Four at the very top of the track where the Budweiser Balcony is.

Your lines are generally close to the optimum line. Just keep working on tightening up the apexes and carrying more speed. In several corners your speed is under what the car can carry, but as it was said before, WSIR is a very fast track so you want to work patiently up to speed.

Continued driver coaching as you are seeking is advisable.

Here is some Jim Tway in-car race video from this past weekend. This will give you an idea of what kinds of speeds can be carried in the corners. The Corvettes you see racing weigh about 3200 lbs and are tuned to a limit of about 400 horsepower. So you can see what a 1:25 second lap looks like.

Yes to the mix~up. Meant T-5.

With regard to the video you linked too: HOLY GUACAMOLE! The car control shown in the video is impressive.

Watched X 2 and I see where I am making mistakes.

At any rate, had the time of my life on the three days on track with the car so far. And about to add a 4th and 5th track day(s) the next two weekends.

Will post up my better laps to compare vs above. Thanks.

Nope. West Coast Racing event!

Like with surfing, perfect waves, no one out. We call that magic hour. In this case it was 5 magic hours. Everyone went home as a storm was approaching and we scored it too ourselves. Still buzzing two weeks later.
