Default They do exist! (Nitto NT01 325/30/19)

Prepping my car for this year's track season. Decided to step it up in tires. I picked up a set of OEM C6 Z06 split spokes and threw on some Nitto NT01s in stock sizes to use for my track setup.

I have been running Michelin PSSs in 285/345 and have been generally happy. I have ~16,000 miles and 9 or 10 track days on the PSSs and they still have plenty of life. Rears are worn more than the fronts.

Just wanted to see what a stickier tire can do. So, for anyone wondering if the Nitto NT01 exists in a 325/30/19 size, it does! Nitto's website shows it but very few online retailers will show it. I got mine through Discount Tire. They had to special order them in.

Disregard. I'm stupid and can't read numbers properly.

That link showed a 305/30/19 for $383.29.

I got the rears in 325/30/19 for $372/tire. Not sure how it's cheaper but it was.

Let us know what you think....I may try these when I'm due for new rubber all around (on R888s in stock C6 widebody sizes now).

Will do. First track day is April 13th. I almost bought R888s but kept reading people reporting that they heat cycle out quickly. My hope with the NT01s was that they make it through one year/season of tracking. I track ~7 times a year.

I've only tracked on the PSSs so I will only have those to compare to.

The r compounds will make your pss feel like all season tires lol. I just switched from re11 to r888 (ran pss for hpde originally, then re11). Night and day. Understeer greatly reduced and dropped 3 to 4 seconds off my lap times.

That's a huge price difference. I'm looking at my invoice. It was $372 each for the 325/30/19 and $270 each for the 275/35/18. Hope it stays that way for me.

who did you talk to? The guy I talked to called Nitto himself to confirm they could get them then he said yes and they are $450 each without the tire replacement insurance thing. If I could get them for $370 Id buy in a second

Good deal (literally)! Hopefully the price stays that way. I was surprised with the price too compared to the 305s that someone linked and vs. one online dealer showed.

Hope I can get one year/track season out of them. I run 6-7 times/season and they won't be used on the street.

Thanks,
Sorry I missed this somehow.

I only have Michelin PSS to compare to. They have done well. My fronts are way more worn than my rears. Great grip. Don't seem to fall off much for our short 15 minute sessions.

I'm running pretty much neck and neck in my GS with 405whp coil overs, sway bars on NT01s vs my friends 09 Z06 with 535whp on DRM shocks and sway bars on R7s around Hallett Motor Racing Circuit. Not sure if that says anything.

Still trying to figure out pressures.

I liked them enough to buy another set for my April track days at NCM Motorsports Park. The rears are $289 shipped each on ebay right now. Seller had 6 for sale. I bought 2. Got fronts for $245 each shipped.
