Default Tire options

Bridgestone Potenza RE-11

versus

Michelin Pilot Super Sport

B stock class, 9 events per year.
5k miles per year, mostly city driving, not highway.
Front size: Size: 265/35-18 285/30or35-18 on 18x8.5 wheels
Rear size: 305/30ZR19 on 19x9.5 wheels
The questions: will I notice a difference? local SCCA autox only.
Approximately how many years of usable treadwear?

The RE-11 would be faster but if you want another second on a 50 sec course go to Bridgestone RE-71R. 265/35x18 front and 285/30x19 rear. Running C5/Z06 rear wheels set up on 275/35x18 last year had over 200 runs and 2500 miles I still a little tread left.

I got about 3000 miles and just under 200 runs out of mine. Just ordered a new set today.
