Default Suggestion on C7 Z51 brake pad for HPDE events

Quick question for everyone, I have a new 2016 C7 Z51 that I'll be tracking, stock power only mods are DOT4 fluid and Nitto NT01 275/35/18 front & 305/30/19 rear.

I am coming from a 2013 ZL1 that I tracked frequently and I ran HAWK DTC 70 front and DTC 60 rear on. It was a good pad but I do not like the corrosive behavior of the pad. I was thinking of trying out Carbotech XP12 front & XP10 rear.

I am open to suggestions as my personal experience with track pads if very limited.

Coming from the Hawk I am sure you like the initial bite? I would suggest going XP20 front and XP10 or 12 rear. What track are you running? The XP20 is still very rotor friendly compared to the DTC pad.

Yes I thought the HAWK DTC 70/60 combo was great, especially initial bite. I'd go with that pad again, but like I said I'm not a fan of the corrosive brake dust from the HAWK pads. I wasn't sure if the XP20 would be too aggressive on stock rotors?

I run Texas World Speedway, MSR Houston and sometimes Circuit of the Americas

I would run 20&12. If you would like to order I will be happy to help you out.
