Default Need recommendation: TSW Nurburgring protection from brake dust?

I've purchased a set of TSW Nurburgring wheels. The wheels have a very nice matte finish and I'd like to protect it. I'm using Carbotech XP8s and they dust quite a bit. I'm concerned that the dust might scratch the finish during washing or general handling of the rims.

What are you guys using (if anything) to keep the matte finish looking decent and protected on matte wheels?

I figured this might be a better section than the general or wheels/tires due to number of people using more aggressive brake pads.

You cant protect them, lost cause.

Look up Iron-X cleaner, clean them with that and some good water pressure before you hand wash them. Clear coated wheels fair better in the track environment from what I have seen on my cars.

If I remember Carbotech's dust is not corrosive in any way.

Keeping wheels pretty on a track car is a lost cause, better buy you some old beat up wheels to track with if you are that concerned.

When not on track run street pads to keep down the dust.

I've been running black TSWs and XP10s on the track car for years and the wheels look like new when I wash them. Stick with Carbotechs and you won't have a problem.

Wasn't there some concern about running in the rain and letting it dry on the wheels making the dust very hard to get off?
