Pretty cool. It kind of reminds me of Grattan Raceway here in Michigan. You can get so pretty good air if you're not careful and there is a 90 degree turn almost as soon as you get the car settled.

Yep, sure is. I build open wheel cars for guys on a limited basis. While, I've been a HPDE instructor for 18 years, I've never entered one of my Corvettes in one.
I race Formula Fords and Formula SCCA cars, Atlantics are way too expensive to run.
That particular car is a 1984 Reynard which was a show car (and painted in those awful Benetton F1 colors ) . The car was a total basket case when I got it, trans was in a cardboard box with parts missing, etc.
It turned out pretty good but is still an older car, H-pattern gearbox, Weber carbs, etc. It's a bit of a handful to drive.
I'm the crew chief and test driver on our newer car, a 2002 Swift.
It's easier to drive and quite a bit faster, sequential gearbox, fuel injected Toyota TRG (redlines at 10,300 ).
These are just mid blowing cars to drive.
Doing a little bit of maintenance on the Swift this week.

Very cool! What track is that? First it looked like Willow but no. Yeah I know how fast they are. Used to race Sports 2000 (Royale RP38) in SCCA in SoCal and they grouped (at least then) Atlantic in with the S2 class. You think you're moving pretty well and an Atlantic goes by you like that!
It's a 5 mile track and only 30 minutes from my house, sucks.
Yea, an S2 (great car) and an Atlantic, especially in a high speed sweeper, you'd say "It's not possible to go that fast.", (I've said that in a FF). The Atlantic has at least 2x the downforce.
