C6 Z06 Front Tire Size - 18" Rim
Haven't seen it directly posted in any search results...so is anyone running a 305/35/18 as a front tire on a C6Z with no major changes for the road course? I believe the front can handle up to a 315 with no rubbing issues?

I ran 285/18 front tires on my C6Z using LG World Challenge 18x10 front wheels. The tires would rub the front brake duct and hit the upper part of the wicker bill. The duct was hit in tight turns in a parking lot or similar location while the wicker bill was hit during hard high G turns on track. When I switched to 18x11 CCW wheels with 315s in front I still hit the same places.

Where you running a square set up
Did you use any spacers in front
Did you change ride height to adjust for taller tire in front
Did the wider tire help the car turn in better
Thanks

run 315 up front here on ccw 18x11's, no spacers or other changes, no rub on the last 3 cars other than the brake cooling duct if it comes loose, or you have the car crazy lowered, then some rub on inner fender liners

Spacers are only needed if you are running the GM ceramic rotors or certain Wilwood two piece brake hats. These rotor hats have depressed centers and the CCW Wheels are a few thousandths of an inch wider in diameter than the stock GM wheels so spacers are required so the wheel doesn't try and slide into the depressed area. The spacers are available from CCW. Just call and tell them what you have and they will make it for you at a reasonable cost.
No need to adjust ride height because tire was only .1 inch larger in diameter.
The setup I was running on my C6Z and now on my C7Z was the hot track setup for the C6Z. With those wheels and a set of Hoosiers they would get around a track damned fast.
