Default Targa Southland Prep

Hi all!

About 4 months ago I bought a 2007 z51 coupe m6. Love it so far, drive it every day. Planned on cutting back on the auto-x some with this car since I have gotten into karting but SCCA's targa southland event looks like too much fun to pass up!

The event is mostly for fun, 2 auto x's track laps at Charlotte motor speedway, Atlanta Motorsports Park, and NCM over 3 days in August. It will be my first track time in the corvette so I am wondering what if any issues I may need to address to make sure I have a trouble free event?

I'm already planning on new tires, brake fluid and water wetter. Will check pads when I change oil. Any recommendations on pads that will survive short track sessions and still work on the street? I'm not so concerned with noise, just don't want that iron dust that will rust on wheels.
