Default C6 w/ a gutted interior - lock symbol on dashboard - ignore?

On a car with the interior gutted and a very large number of non-functional components/modules unplugged (doors, windows, mirrors, antennae, entertainment/radio, HVAC, seats, airbags, horn, indicator+light stalks, blah blah) I see the lock symbol stay lit on the dashboard after starting.

As far as I can tell, nothing relevant to a dedicated track car is disabled/locked... the car starts and runs just fine.

Any concern or just ignore? Any way to eliminate this icon by the way?

That symbol is for the vehicle anti theft/security system.
Ignore it.

heh surprised VATS isnt shutting you off. if its not, yea, you can ignore it.

but you can rip it out of the tune easily, too.
