Default Spring Rate for LG G2 Coilovers for C6Z06? Help Please

I have a c6z06 that is used primarily on the track with R7's. Recently purchased a set of used LG G2 coilovers with 700f/700r spring rate. Was considering going with full aero, but have decided against it. I have the stock front splitter and Katech rear spoiler.

What is the desired spring rate I should be using with my setup?

Please chime in with your experiences. Thank you.

700/700 will be fine.you don't have enough aero to make a real difference.

Give LG a call.

Depending on sway bars and tires may have a decent amount of oversteer.

They might tell you to drop the rear rate a bit or increase the front depending on your tracks and skill level.

Given the fact those coil overs can not be re-valved for a different spring setup you really only have about a 100 lb window for spring changes on them before they become a bit upset.

Spring rates required would depend on the size of the splitter, the amount of downforce that the car is going to make the the speeds it sees on track. If anything it would only need a bit more at the front as the car needs more front than rear aero and that rear spoiler isn't going to make that big of an impact. I would start with what you have and go testing.

You cannot revalve the G2 Bilsteins? Figured you could since they are rebuildable?

He is asking about the GT2's....different shock, and no, not here in house they are a sealed body shock. G2's however...yes can be done any way you would like.

Never mind....I didn't read it right.

Yes the G2's can be revalved. Sorry...not thinking straight today I guess

You do have a 100lb window, that part I still stick with. Now depending on how much aero....and what spring rate it might take to keep the car stable..yes a valve setup would be suggested. Typically I do the valving in full aero cars different than non

I am running full "OEM" aero on a C6Z and Anthony got me in 750 fr/650 r for the G2s. Car is stiff and flat.
