Just FYI, yesterday I got an email from the Daytona Int'l Speedway. It was telling me I could sign up for Corvette Corral tickets for the Rolex 24 next Jan 25-28.

As I understand it, you can take advantage of this at this time ONLY if you have purchased tickets in the past.

I called to see if I could get an additional ticket (one ticket is for one car, two people). I have purchased two tickets every year in the past, but my brother-in-law wants to come next year. When I talked with them they said that at this time I was limited to only the two tickets I have bought in the past.

I was told that public offering of tickets would be on June 8th, and I should call back after that date to get an additional ticket.

So....two things:

1. If you have purchased Rolex 24 Corvette Corral tickets in the past, and for some reason didn't get an email about doing what they call a "renewal" for next January (changed email address, etc.), you should call right away in order to get tickets for next year
   
   
2. If you have not previously purchased tickets, but want to attend next year, make sure you call June 8th to see if you can get tickets.

Unfortunately, I believe the tickets generally sell out to those of us doing the "renewal" during this early period, so usually are not available later on - but it will be worth trying on June 8th.

Call 800-PIT-SHOP (800-748-7467) to purchase.

BTW - they are friggin' EXPENSIVE!!! One ticket for one car and two people is $315 plus a $15 "service charge". I think that's almost a friggin' 100 bux more than they were for the Rolex this year!!

Butt....I'll be there again next Jan! Hope to c'ya at the track!!

WOW!!! When I'm at the Corvette Corral I'd love to see you racing around out there on the track!!!
