Because of the delay for Qualifying 2, they had just a short break before qualifying 3. Alsmost in and out. Night qualifying now. Corvette had a good time in 2, but just set a very good time in qualifying 3. As tthey run, 10 minutes into Qualifying 3 (and final)

IF everyone is really running hard, to have the whole field within 7/10ths is amazing.
The Astons and Ferraris seem to be able to consistently turn quick laps more than some of the others, but this is all you can ask for. Every car has a chance.
I'll root for Toyota, but I'm not sure P1 will come down to speed. It usually doesn't...

Qualifying
With 38 minutes left in Q3 Corvette's are placed 2nd and 5th. The Larbre GT3 Corvette is sitting P1 with a qualifying time of 3:52.843. That's pretty quick for a GT3 car!

GTE-AM needs to be one year old. The Larbre car is actually older so it has the older aero package from the original C7.R. Their car was run as one of the factory cars in IMSA for a year, if I have my chasis right.

Qualifying over. Corvettes are are P6 and P10.
Each manufacturer has a car within a second of the leader. Should make for a good race.
The Aston Martin's are fast. Basically, with 40 minutes left, both went out, one ran 1 lap at speed, the other 2 laps, and then parked them sitting in P1 and P2 (later split by a Ferrari).
Ford dumped their sandbags, perhaps. The leading Ford also only took 1 lap at speed.
Here's where it stands in GTE-Pro
1 Aston Martin 3:50.837
2 Ferrari 3:51.028
3 - Aston
4 - Ferrari
5 - Ford 3:51.232
6 - #63 Corvette 3:51.484
7 - Porsche 3:51.847
8 - Ford
9 - Ford
10 - #64 Corvette 3:52.017
11 - Ferrari (didn't seem to run for time at night)
12 - Ford
13 - Porsche

Awesome for Larbre!
So which ford took P5, was the 66 American car?

Two years ago, the cars were the same.
For the start of 2016, their were some slight rules updates allowing some more under car aero and such. Additionally, the cage and roof had to have an escape hatch for the driver. The Larbre car was the same as the pre-2016 car. The chasis is almost the same but they didn't want to modify the cage to fit the escape hatch, so they built new cars.
From the pictures, it looks like the Larbre car has most or all of the updated aero pieces, so they may be the same except for the cage/hatch.
PS. I should note that they run different BoP between AM and Pro as well. The Am car is lighter and runs slightly more restricted.

So **** man...
Since Comcast doesn't even offer FS2 in my area, Fox Sports GO won't let me log in to anything being broadcast on FS2 because it says my package doesn't include 2.
Anybody know where I can stream the whole race PLEASE

For $9.xx US you can buy the WEC lemans pack. Can watch on android app, apple app, or desktop website.

For the IMSA races, you can stream the entire race (even on Fs2) if you can authenticate FS1. I imagine Le Mans will be the same, as it has been in the past. Alternative is to pay for the WEC/le mans package for $10.

Nope, tried streaming FS2 stuff tonight and didn't work. Also, I can see future streams and only the (3) sections on FS1 are showing up as available to schedule/watch.

Boost Monkey and I were talking about this earlier tonight. We finally figured out that what you can stream on the FSGO app is dependent upon your provider and how you log into the FSGO app. If your provider carries FS2, you can stream it. If not, you can't.
I have Comcast in my house, but I also have a motorcoach for which I have a Direct TV subscription. Comcast does not provide FS2, but Direct TV does. So I've logged onto the FSGO app w/ Direct TV and can stream FS2 in my house.
Boost has Comcast, w/o FS2, so that's his problem.

Well that stinks for those of you without Fs2. I know generally you can't watch FS2 without a subscription, but the multi-platform races have been an exception the last couple of years. I would still give it a try tomorrow and see what happens. Not even sure how they would work the in-car cameras.
Otherwise the WEC package is nice from what I hear...or find a "friend" with FS2
Hope it works put on way or another.
