Ugh, I am not a fan of BoP adjustments this late before the race, even if the Corvettes benefit. Specs should be locked before qualifying was started this week. Adjustments like this remind of NASCAR in the late 90s with their spoiler and air dam changes, and the USRRC with GT1 for Daytona 24 in '98.

Ok, we secured an account login for a friend who has both FS1 and FS2.

Problem solved, FOX it is for the whole race. If they pull a switcharoo at the ending like last year I'm going to riot.

When you spend a lot of money on government fines and buying back cars, you have to cut somewhere, unfortunately.

#63 had an unscheduled pit stop for possible punture from the #88/#26 wreck carnage.

#63 headed to the pits with a puncture, dropping them to 13th (last) in class, but they didn't lose too much time.

Larbre Corvette also had an unscheduled stop dropping them to 12th in GTE-AM.

Too early in the race to really know what is going on, but looks like qualifying holds. Astons just a little quicker than everyone else, Porsche seems to be next, slightly ahead of the others, but it is all close enough for this to be fun.

EDIT: OOPS...starting typing and didn't hit submit, and saw Rob already posted....

With Porsche now in P1, it didn't make financial sense to race a sister brand.
The next time we see Audi in big-time racing it may be F1.

Leading Aston in for a puncture. So far, minor issues for 63 Corvette (puncture), 95 Aston (puncture), 91 Porsche (contact with LMP2 car), 66 Ford, 69 Ford (brake light).

All still on lead lap as long as the Aston can get around in time.

Contact between the 64 Corvette and the 92 Porsche. 92 goes for a spin, but both appeared to be ok. Can't tell from the short replay they showed who was at fault. In the replay they were side by side and the Corvette was at the inside edge of the track, and had no where else to go. What we couldn't see is if they entered that way and the Porsche didn't leave enough room, or if the Corvette tried to dive in on the inside of the corner. Fassler was driving the Corvette.

Yep....already exceeded their best qualifying time in race conditions.

Everyone else is running slightly behind their qualifying time.

82 Ferrari taken out by a LMP2 car who came right into him after making only half a pass. Feel bad for them, that was just stupid by the prototype. Jordan Taylor was just behind in the #63 Corvette but was able to avoid it. First GTE-Pro car with major issues.
