Default THIS is what we do at LG--Sebring Video

Tire test from 2007 with our World Challenge Corvette C6

Everything on that car is something that we sell, race proven and worked out to the max.
World challenge restrictors installed. Yes it was a track day so there was a bit of traffic.

Thanks

You did great, but who ever chose the cameras to put in the car did a terrible job and should be ashamed.

Lobsterroboto's shaming statement is not worth commenting on, yet Lou's smooth and fast driving is -- Great job!

I have been racing for longer than many of you have been alive. Over 40 years of racing.

I became addicted many years ago and have been blessed to be able to keep driving and make a living around the sport and the products that we have been able to build for our race cars and then produce a street/race version that have help many Corvette owners and Track cars in the process.
I probably won't do any full season efforts but I will be back on track at some Pro race that I have a car for.
No more Corvettes in World Challenge, they are outlawed.

The new Trans Am series does have a place of our Corvettes to run. so that will probably be where we will go.

Drive FAST!

The first video was on Kumho race slicks.

this video is on Kumho RA1 DOT tires. both video runs at Sebring. This one uses a normal Manual transmission with a great clutch set up.

Big Difference

Thanks

I started running Trans Am this season starting with Willow Springs this past April. My last Trans Am race this year is November 5th at CoTA in Austin.

The Trans Am people could not be nicer and more accommodating... quite refreshing actually.

I agree, John Clagget is running things and he is an honorable man for sure. He has been involved with SCCA for years,.

What bodywork & aero setup is that, if not your own, and how does it attach to the chassis? Any detail you can show here?

Pity that sequential is so darn expensive.

Aero body work is all LG.

LG Louvered hood
LG Front race splitter rule limited to 2 inches.
LG Rear wing and mounts

Watch the second video without the sequential.

same LG Wing going on a Camaro 5th gen

While I suspect if you return to Trans Am it would be in TA3, but it sure would be fun to watch you back in a full TA car. I keep wondering if someone will build an LS powered TA car. I think it would have to be an iron block version. There are some incredible heads out there now by Brodix, AFR and others. With 13 to 1 compression, 8600 rpm etc. I think the power potential is there to compete with the SB2's and D3 Ford and with better reliability.

AH! Back when you could still track out a little in Turn 1 when they still moved the wall.

Looks like this might have been with Chin back in Dec '07? If so, I was there that day and used to have video of you blowing by me on the back straight.

This video also proves how far video cameras have come.

Good stuff!

Yeah, probably TA3 in either a Corvette or an Aston. The corvette is apart being rebuilt as we speak. The Aston is race ready now.

We will see.

Yes, it was a Chin track event where we did the testing. TOOOOO much fun!

At Sebring this year in TA3 the Leaders ran around 2:09-2:10 fast laps.

Just rippin in that vid, damn that car is fast. I wish I could've achieved enough thus far to see the track more, and build to my potential...enjoy a car like that...whew. I love Corvette and have always loved building cars, doing TIG fab, building cages and layin composites but....at this point in life I am failing like North Korea. Might start doin drugs and just call it a wrap. We all can't be winners....gotta have some losers otherwise being ahead wouldn't matter.

Keep up the good fight...love your company and the quality you represent.

Yes in 2006 at Sebring ,where this video is from, we did a mid 2:09 but we were on DOT Toyo tires back then.

Same car in tire testing on slicks, we were in the 2:05s but we never ran Pirelli tires on this particular car.

Cota will be on pirelli tires and the TA3 will need to beat a 2:19.8 which was the pole last year. -- World Challenge GTS was faster than that by quite a bit but the TA3 cars have to weigh much more.
Should be interesting.
