I don't know what it is about this particular thread, but there are multiple LONG scripts running in the background.
I can't do anything on this page for at least 45 seconds after it opens; this on a brand new computer...…
The page locks up on several occasions as well and requires a refresh.
Doesn't matter which browser I'm using.
VERY Annoying...….
By the way, this post took 3 tries to complete.....

Long running scripts AND ads (and their associated videos) are killing the internet.
It's frickin' ridiculous.

By a combined exploit of V4 and rossa strategists of which they have the secret.
Chrome + stop advertising app.
The only problem I have is with the new CF site, there are threads under each other, I'm wrong when I have to write and after signing, this page that you have to pass to access the thread, annoying.

Finally found a nugget on the constructor's championship, which is pretty tight between Mercedes and Ferrari:
https://racer.com/2018/11/05/wolff-w...-for-mercedes/
Still looks like Mercedes to lose, with Ferrari needing to erase a 55 pt. deficit with 80+ points remaining. But the championship that pays the REAL money will probably go down to Abu Dhabi.
Have a good one,
Mike

US friends of F1, let's enjoy this penultimate RDV (rendez-vous) of F1 on another mythical circuit in the megalopolis Sud Am, the city has surrounded this circuit that once was in the countryside, between the lakes, hence its name, Interlagos.
As often here, weather is very uncertain, rain is expected at least before the FP and during the nights.
The challenge now for Merco is to lock down the WDC Constructor, which is not very difficult, unless the "Silber" Arrow is abandoned twice, as at Spielzberg Austria, but maintaining a 13-point lead over Féfé should not be difficult. In reality, the real issue, in my opinion, will be to see if Merco and Hamilton give a victory to Bottas, if the drivers who were fighting for the WDC pilots will be totally released, behavior of Ricci dentifrice and leclerc, if Merco will have solved its tire problems and how the midfield teams, especially Mclaren who are about to produce a F1 2019 as a replica of the RBR....
- Grand Prix in Brazil: 45
- Grand Prix at Interlagos: 35
- Winner 2017: *V4
- Poleman 2017: Valtteri Bottas - 1'08''322
- Best lap 2017: Mad Max - 1''11''044
- Winners since the pole position in the last 10 editions: 5
- Victory from the furthest position on the grid: 8th
- Distance to the first bend: 334.5 m
- Length of the stand aisle: 387.1m
- Fuel consumption per lap: 1.48kg (average 2018: 1.78kg)
- Number of brake applications: 7
- Percentage of lap at acceleration: 68% (average 2018: 61%)
- Percentage of lap under braking: 17%.
- Shift ratios per revolution: 44
- Time to stop at the pits: 22,486 sec (fastest stop in 2017)
- Minimum pressures imposed on slicks: 23 psi at the front and 21 psi at the rear
- Camber limits imposed: 3.50° at the front and -2.00° at the rear
- Overtakings without DRS in 2017: 11
- Overtakings with DRS in 2017: 24
- Possibility of safety car : 40%.
The 1st DRS zone has been extended by 100 m and starts 100 metres after the T14.
Come back to the spec C for STR but RBR wants to continue with the Renault spec B

Here the situation of the PU's arriving at Interlagos. But perhaps penalty for Ricci Dentifrice, it's usual now.. because of the stewards, last GP
This table does not take into account Ricci's new turbo. Following abandonment at the GP Mexico, the fire extinguisher powder powered by the track stewards entered the turbo of the Aussie, the merchants of legal hyper caloric poison Gmbh of Salzburg Austria made a request to the FIA to have a turbo without penalty... little chance, IMO. It would be a 6th turbo change and therefore 5 penalty places. RBR would be inspired to change all PU and gearbox
Q1
Final Q1
Mad Max with few petrol, Merco has the rims with the holes

FP2
Crash of Hulk, he put two right side tyre in the grass, he did quasi the same in FP1 without problem, too confidence...
FIA penalty for Ricci, another we with penalty, not fault of the motorist or RBR but the steward with the extinguisher in México.
It works well this pm for Merco but huge blistering for Féfé and K-Mag's right wing mirror...on the track ! No problem, he doesn't need mirrors, all people knows that

Kubi will be George Russell's team mate. The information leaked to Interlagos by a journalist, who was sidelined in Williams' hospitality, the team is furious about this leak. Claire simply said ''we chose our second pilot''.
5 grid penalty for Ocon, gearbox change before the end of the series of 6 races consecutively

Q1
some drops of rain, rain possibly expected in 20 mn for Q3
Q2
Risk of penalty for Ham, hindered drivers twice, with Sirotkin and Kimi, crashes avoid extremely just, big score of Féfé, Q2 in S tyres to start in S yellow if dry track
Q3
no rain
Good strategy for Féfé tomorrow, start in S yellow and the 2 other teams in SS red
the 1st run
Final Q3
82th pole, 10th pole this season for the new WDC , 100th for Merco, the first was in 1954 at Reims (the Champagne...) by Fangio.
I'm curious to see if penalty for Ham, he was very dangerous,*
Incredible, no investigation against Ham but V4 in front of the stewards, he damaged the FIA weighing scale, ubuesque... lol*
Amazing Leclerc, he demanded to stay in track to have the P8, a lot of maturity from this do young pilot.
Addendum V4 about the incident
Joe Bauer, technical Delegate FIA :""In the second qualifying segment at 15:27, the driver of the number 5 car, when called for the weighing, refused to turn off the engine, the car was pushed on the scale and weighed with the engine running, making it difficult to obtain a stable weight. After the weighing, the pilot restarted by his own means, and thus destroyed the weighing instrument. As the pilot did not follow the instructions and compromised the rest of the weighing procedure, I report this matter to the Commissioners for their consideration."

SCARY near-miss between Louise and Sirotkin. If ever a penalty needed to be dispensed, that was the time.
As Brundle said: "That was nearly a plane crash!" or some words to that effect...

Heavy fine of 25K€ and a reprimand for V4 for not obeying the weighing instructions and damaging the measuring instrument. The FIA has become a real mess !
The race at the start with the Merco and RBR in red and Féfé in yellow tyres will be interesting with this offbeat strategy, you will have to see the pit stop that will win...

How is the Vettel penalty an FIA issue? Everyone has known from the time the portable scales have been used that you don't drive on to or off of them, you have to be pushed with the engine off so as not to damage them. Vettel screwed up, again, and frankly should have received much more than a paltry fine and slap on the wrist.
