Thats what Ferrari do. They waste great drivers talents... Its not surprising to me one bit after I saw what they did with Kimi. I feel bad for Charles but oh well....

Ya think?

Tomorrow may turn out to be a very interesting Monaco GP (for once)...50% chance of rain.

The fact that Binotto is glossing over is that Ferrari was so close to the back of the grid that they could misjudge the cutoff lap time. Sometimes I swear Ferrari would rather totally implode than get in the way of their #1.

Oh well, enjoy the race tomorrow! When/if I get in Internet range I'll check in.

Have a good one,
Mike

"I think we’ve got the right people. I think we’ve got the right procedures, but we need to improve our tools," Binotto said.

No, Binocchio. You ARE the tool!

The monkeys running the zoo is not new for Ferrari.

They have quite a lot of experience with this...

Special Request: how about sending us some nice pics along the way?

I hate to say it but...I'm beginning to REALLY believe Ferrari is actually starting to go off the deep end.

Official grid by FIA

NEW CLUTCH for the 2 Mercedes, be careful when the start with the running-in...

Rain at Monac' : risk 50-60%, risk maximum between 14 and 15 h. I'm not very sure. I don't think, the risk moves away and decreases.

In Niki's memory, there will always be a red star on the Silver Arrow engine hood from now on.

ANOTHER yawner.
Without rain, Monaco is a real snoozer.
How many on-track passes were there?

Because as the driver he needs to relay how the car the car is doing. When it has no grip, you expect him to be quiet about it?

For the casual fan, Monaco can be boring, but watching Hamilton fend off Verstappen who kept attacking and putting the pressure on was damn exciting to watch. But if you weren’t there, it’s no surprise you were bored.

At least Verstappen kept it somewhat interesting.
IF the cars weren't so wide, it would make passes easier. And if the tires were narrower, tire management might be a bigger challenge than it is.
Jus' sayin....

It was quite clear they screwed up in giving him the medium tire. For 40 laps he kept relaying the same information on how bad the tires were. I'm a Hamilton fan but his constant updates on the tires did not help the situation. It sounded as though he wanted to pit which would have caused him to lose his position. Even after he won he still seemed to complain about the tire choice even though he won the race.

Of course if he was bluffing that's another thing. If he was not he was giving the other team useful information.

LH has always been a bit of a whiner.
I wonder how he would be if he had stayed at McLaren?
