Lucky man to be in the middle of the F1 world : You really think he could go to "Féfé" ? he won't go as long as his W0x is dominating. But the fact that Ferrari has made an offer proves that the after Kimi is getting ready. A Vettel-Hamilton duo would be explosive for the others as well as for "Féfé": with 2 wolves in the same sheepfold...

Tu es confiant pour the comme back of McLaren this year ? with equal engine, we will see which of RBR and McLaren has the best châssis
I don't have any concrete information about Lewis and Ferrari, but he did leave McLaren after winning his 1st WC to join Mercedes. He certainly won't leave Mercedes for Ferrari unless they improve their team. Timing will be key and Lewis certainly has made all the right moves to date. - Regarding McLaren it's hard to catch up when you have had an inferior car for many, many years but they will show measurable improvement. Ferrari is probably the closest to Mercedes but they too have had to play catch up as they are behind Mercedes by one full yea, (many years for McLaren). In anticipation of the rule changes Mercedes started developing their 6 cylinder turbo charged engine a year in advance of Ferrari. It is my understanding that Ferrari never wanted to switch to 1.6 litre V6 turbo and maybe, just maybe Mercedes gambled a bit but made a calculated decision knowing that Jean Todt would favor a more environmentally friendly engine spec. Quel con!

Merci pour ces infos Bobby. J. Todt, I wonder what he's doing for F1, apart from strutting around France for Safety Road, the height of a FIA president. Un gros con ! Has been.

LH would go to the Ferrari support team Sauber as I predicted long ago.

As the first testing session, the 2018 championship would begin in the rain, among the previsions at this time, especially saturday (qualifying) and sunday with wind. The rain experts will be out in this case.

IIRC, rain in Melbourne is not a good thing.

MB threatens a breakaway series if Liberty doesn't play ball:

This is a load of B.S. from Wolff.
No way would the MB Board be willing to spend Euros to make this happen.

Salut Messieurs les Américains ! Tout va bien ? Ah ah ah . I'm happy, friday is close, excited like a child even though you will have to be up between 2 and 5 am for the free practices.

And a news by FIA, especially by Whiting :

for the 1st time on a F1 circuit, we will have a 3rd DRS zone, it will be on Melbourne 2018. This 3rd DRS zone will be between turn 12 and 13, in the background of the circuit. I'll post a new card hand modified

Wow, Pastor "Maldonator" will begin in WEC super season 2018 - 2019 at the 6 heures of Spa-Francorchamps, Belgique (super season 2018-2019 with twice Le Mans) ! He will be team collègue with the Mexican Roberto Gonzales and probably with the another ex F1 pilote Estéban Guttiérrez with the US team DragonSpeed. I hope this team has a lot carbon parts already in stock !!! So a total south American pilots team.

Come back to the 3rd DRS zone in Albert Park this week end : I think the pilot who fails to overtake in the 3rd DRS zone will have chance to follow very closely before to try an another manoeuvre on the departure line ; he have to keep speed in the sector 3 where is the speed trap of the DRS detection

I always thought that drivers should do that more in Abu Dhabi, where there are 2 back to back DRS zones, but several times I see people pass into the brake zone after the 1st. I doubt you will see that happen, even though it does make sense.

I don't know if it is even possible for ANY team to have enough carbon fiber bits on hand when he is driving.

I've been wondering where The Maldonator ended up.
He should make a great teammate to the whiny Guttiérrez.

ESPN is re-broadcasting Sky Sport coverage from the UK. No confirmation yet how they're going to handle commercials, since Sky is 0 commercials the entire way through the race.

The concurrence is warned ! Lewis has nicknamed the qualifying mode of his W09, "the party mode"! if Renault has talked about "tactical penalty" by using a 4th engine, just like Honda, Mercedes does not envisage at all the use of a 4th engine and does not give up anything on the performance for the 21 races with 3 engines ! RDV Friday 23 for the 1st tests and on all Saturday 24 in qualification Q3 !
