Max's Dad ain't helping:

Gee thanx, Jos...for throwing gasoline on the fire.
Ross Brawn's analysis of the Mexican GP:

Good read.
Mercedes "holes in wheels" controversy not dead yet:
http://gptoday.com/full_story/view/6..._not_dead_yet/
If indeed these "holes" help keep tires cool, it should be adopted across the grid.
Anything to improve the show is a good thing IMO.
Ericsson going to Indy Car:

Hope it works out for him.

I found by accident on internet, an illustration which is an excellent summary of this season, it is missing on this artwork to be complete, Arrivamale" and Jock Clear beside V4. Sometimes, an illustration is worth ALL the comments.
Marko and Horner a few hours before the start of the Grand Prix Mécico on Sunday, had a serious conversation with Hartley and informed him of his departure from STR, perhaps as early as this week : the Faenza team is considering starting Albon in Brazil if a financial agreement can be found by then with Nissan (which has a contract with the Thai US in Formula E).

Pure Räikkö, true of true, innocent. What a man ! A separate pilot, an Alien. It's so incredible I'm wondering if it's really true what He said. What do you think about ?
From his his biography. He reveals that he had never watched a F1 GP before taking part in his first test in a Formula 1 car with Sauber in 2000. The following year, Räikkö turned 20 years old, and made a remarkable debut in F1 with Sauber, to whom he returned in 2019.
"I don't remember dreaming of one day becoming a Formula 1 driver when I was younger," says Iceman, who, 18 years after his F1 debut, is approaching his 300th Grand Prix.
"In karting, when you're still just a kid, you probably have dreams, but quite honestly I didn't even think I was going to be able to leave karting to start in a single-seater, because I didn't have any money. »
But I met some very smart people who supported me, and when I started winning in Formula Renault, I said to myself: "OK, maybe I can do my job with it", and then I remember being very surprised when I received a paid offer to run in Japan in F3. But then things moved very quickly in another direction, towards F1. »
"There are probably things I would have imagined impossible, and in my case I must admit that I had never seen a Grand Prix before I did my very first test in a Formula 1 car! »
"Quite frankly, I had no particular expectations. I had just gone to Mugello to see how it felt to drive an F1 car, without thinking too much about it. Naturally, I was hoping to be convincing, but I wasn't stressed. »
A year after making his F1 debut with Sauber, Räikkö joined McLaren in 2002 as a starting driver, after being spotted by a certain Ron Dennis, who will also spot and introduce another future F1 atypical star, Hamilton.
Really incredible this guy! Oh, it felt good to read that when I woke up!

There's no one like Kimi.
I found this little article at Jalopnik:
https://jalopnik.com/inside-the-only...ica-1830088702
Interesting to see a European-style exotic car factory in the U.S.
I doubt the C8 line will look like this...

Max tells it like it is:
http://gptoday.com/full_story/view/6...ton8217s_Merc/
AND what is wrong with F1: it's NOT the driver, it's the technology.
RB believes the 2019 Honda PU will only be 10 kilowatts behind MB and Ferrari:
http://gptoday.com/full_story/view/6...n_2019__Marko/
If so, they will be a serious contender for the Championship.
Jackie Stewart thinks Vettel past his prime:

I'll bet SV appreciated his comments.

What could have been had Alonso not went to McLaren?

Looks like 3 new races for 2020:
http://gptoday.com/full_story/view/6...2020_F1_deals/
Naturally, none of them will be in the States.
F1 bosses say 2019 aero regs are a step backwards:
http://gptoday.com/full_story/view/6...tep_backwards/
That's gotta mean it's gonna work the way Brawn intends.
Some thoughts on LH as GOAT:
http://gptoday.com/full_story/view/6...Hamilton_is_S/
I get what the guy is saying.
When Hamilton first came up, I was a big fan.
But over the years I have seen him do and say things that turn me off.
Of course his driving has been barely short of incredible and I respect him for that.

What a moronic statement. Sounds like the Corvette is just an accident, that everyone there is just grabbed off some random GM assembly line and plunked down. I've toured the Corvette plant, and it sounds much like what he describes, except they build a lot more than 8 cars a day. His "full disclosure" needs to add "paid me a lot of money to print the story they wrote for me".

There are plenty who will say there has been another supercar factory in Bowling Green, Kentucky since 1981, but that place is just another GM plant, filled with robots and assisted machinery. It just happens to be the place where Chevrolet makes the Corvette.
What a moronic statement.
