Default Got Aviaid dry sump - how to use oil temp sensor?

The oil filter adapter with my Aviaid dry sump has two 1/8 NPT holes on it for temp and pressure sensors. The kit came with two 1/8 NPT plugs and 1/8 NPT to -04AN adapter. (Part #010-50040 - http://www.aviaid.com/shopsite_sc/st...-mnt-w-reg.htm )

My question is, is there a simple adapter or something I can buy to hook up the factory C5 sensor (M12 x 1.5)? I don't believe any 3rd party 1/8 NPT sensors have the same resistance-to-temp specs as the OEM, so I can't just wire any old one in. I don't really need a standalone gauge, nor do I have a custom ECU setup. The best I could find is this adapter, but I don't think the sensor probe will fit into this:

Help is MUCH appreciated!

Edit: I also have two -10AN adapters for the In and Out ports for the oil feed.

Most well stock Ace Hardware stores have a lot of fittings. Also, you might want to just google the fitting spec and I am sure you will see a lot of various suppliers that can adapt what you are looking for.

Looks like you already found it on eBay.

Why don't you think your probe would fit into it? Only $10, it's worth it to try.

I had a similar problem with my oils pressure fitting, adapter wasn't deep enough. How ever we are able to machine a bit off and make it work

Are you using an oil cooler that uses AN fittings? I'll assume so since you are using a stand alone oil filter mount. You could use GM Racing oil cooler block -but- the temp fitting may not clear the headers, if you have headers. I've used Aeroquip 2258 (-12), cut off the bottom AN part, and welded and threaded an aluminum cap.
