Forgestar F14 18x11 Squared on C6 Base?
Anyone running F14's 18x11 squared with 315/30/18 on C6 narrow? If you do, how's the fitment and what offset did you order? Any issues with BBK?

You're going to have trouble with 11" wide wheels on a base C6. Also a square set-up can cause issues with your traction control and braking systems IIRC on a C6. Hopefully someone with more knowledge can chime in and I'm interested in the answer myself.

Traction control is turned off for track either way. and ABS has nothing to do with running staggered or not. It's already proven the stock C5Z rears 18x10.5 can run in the front of base C6 and 315/30/18 with steering rack limiter. So since I need to buy new rims either way, I rather go with proper 11" to run 315 hence the thread.

As far as offsets, I was running rear offsets at all four corners (don't recall the number off hand). That required large front spacers but the advantage was I could rotate tires from front to back and side to side. Extended tire life considerably. In fact, I think I have those spacers somewhere if you end up going that direction.
I'm a big fan of the Forgestars. I have a few sets for my C5 racecar now. If you're looking for a vendor, I'd recommend Tway Motorsports.
Good luck!

Forgestar has somewhat limited options for offsets, last I checked they don't offer anything that would work on the rear of a base c6 because of the high offset required.

Bringing back an old(er) thread since I want to see if I can run 11" wide wheels. I know that the SpecCorvette guys are running the 18x11 F14s on all 4 corners with 315s on a C5. I don't know what would prevent those same wheels from working on a base C6.
Sam? Oli? If they'll work, can someone get me a price on a set?

Hi Matt:
I can only speak authoritatively that the 18x11" Forgestars work great on Spec Corvettes/C5 model Corvettes. As Kevin wrote above, fender clearance is aided greatly by a lot of negative camber, but we only run about -2.3 on Spec Corvettes with street tires.
So how does this apply to a C6? I am not a first hand user, but I can say that I have raced against C6 Corvettes extensively in SCCA T1 and GT2 and NASA ST2/TT2. I am confident most are running 11" wheels up front with Hoosier 315/30 tires without issue. On the C5s, as Kevin said, the offsets front and rear are the same.
John Nguyen at Trackspec Motorsports can verify the offset. I recall 54mm. I am sure Jim Tway can confirm, too. In fact, Jim recently completed an awesome C6 build for a client. I am almost certain that car has 11" on the front.
Too bad you are not close to me. I would let you run a set for a session. Oh, you can count on the front brake ducts getting rubbed at full lock. It will eventually wear a hole in them.
I hope this helps a bit....

now finding a wide rim with a low concave could be the issue.

Thanks Oli. I did the math and a +54mm 11" wheel only sticks in 3mm more than the 10.5" +57. I'm very familiar with rubbing ducts so that's nothing new and I'm already at -3.0 camber in front so that helps.
I'm patiently waiting for replies from the messages that I already sent out.

John at Trackspec Motorsports has a one set of gun metal finished F14s in 18x11 when I recently talked to him.

Got a OE Wheel 18x10.5 repo from my buddy to test fit a 315/30 Rival on the front of my base C6, Sticks out a little past body but looks like it will tuck in the fender.
